FINAL EXAM

  1. Laid back Storyboard
  2. Spring Break
  3. All of my Photos
  4.
  5. I really enjoyed working with my group. I didn't know anyone in this class when i first joined it but because of this group now I have made three new friends. They are all upperclassmen so it's nice to be able to ask people that have already gone through the process I am going through right now for advice. Everyone in my group is so nice and they are all filled with great ideas, which is reflected in the group projects we do. Even though I am the youngest in the group they never looked down on me and they wanted to hear my thoughts. I never feel intimidated to share my ideas. Also everyone in my group is really funny so they make class enjoyable too and I learn a lot from them as well
  6. I went into this class not knowing a lot about the topics the class was going to address. It is my first Communications class so I was kind of nervous that everyone else was going to know what they were doing and I was going to be completely lost. At first I did not quite get the hang of the different shots but after a while because we kept going over them I was able to recognize them. I learned a lot about the process of the production of music videos and TV shows. I never really thought about the different types of shots before but now I am able to point them out and be able to tell what shot is probably going to come next. I definitely enjoyed this class.
  7. This class is unlike any other class I have ever taken before. Most classes I have taken are lectures and can be boring at times when the teacher keeps spouting out information at you. There is a lot of memorization that is done and it can be quite tiring. In this class you do not feel like you are learning a lot of information because you are enjoying yourself but when we go over some material in class I realize that we actually have learned a lot. We have learned about lighting, the production process, the types of composition shots and so much more. Everything we have learned is always fresh in my mind because in class we are constantly bringing the different things we have learned up. I had a lot of fun in this class and I will really miss it.
  8. Dr. Chris is definitely very unique and unlike any teacher I have ever had before. He has such an energy and he always seems like he is in a good mood. Because he always seemed excited about what we were going over, he made everyone in the class energized and excited about it too. He was much more open with us than any other teacher I have ever had has been, which made him more personable. I definitely would take another class with him and even though known of my friends are Communication majors, I always tell them they should definitely take his course as an elective if anything.

A Very Short Class

On Wednesday our class was not long at all. Dr. Chris was running late because there was a lot of traffic from the baseball game that was going on. Once he arrived we didn't really do anything new. We all talked and one of the girls brought a guest so Dr. Chris was talking about putting her on trial but he didn't. Also Morgan wasn't in class so Dr. Chris had her friends FaceTime her and she picked up and was in a car with her friend going to Chipotle. It was really funny. That class there was a lot of joking going on; it was a lot of fun. Even though there was a lot of kidding around, we also watched music videos and identified the different shots. We also got out early from class that day too. It was a really great class.

Easter Break

Easter break was a lot of fun. The weekend prior to break was my mother's birthday so I went home as a surprise because my trip home is only about 3 hours. I went with my mother to a Miranda Lambert concert because my mother is a huge fan of hers and so am I so it was nice getting to experience seeing her in concert with my mom. Our tickets were pretty close to the stage so we had a great view. After the weekend ended I came back to Baltimore and then went home again on Wednesday. I went to see my friends who go to Hamilton College in upstate New York on Friday and there college was so much different than Loyola. It was nice seeing them and hanging out even though the train ride was five hours both ways. I spent Easter with my mother and brother and it was great catching up with them since my brother works we don't see him a lot. I really did not want to come back after the break because I know the next month until we finish is going to be brutal workload wise. Hopefully it goes by quickly.

Class Sixteen

Before class on Wednesday, we were not sure if class was going to meet or not because Dr. Chris was stuck in traffic. He said that around 5 he would let us know whether or not we were actually meeting in the classroom or if he was going to have it online. Even though I didn't want to leave my room, I also had no idea how to work Google hangouts. I was glad we had class just because I wanted to learn how to work it for future knowledge. Class was a lot of fun too. We all experimented with Google hangout with our group members and seeing the different things we could do on them. It was really funny especially when people put on funny effects such as hats or changed their background. It always amazes me the different things that are being invented electronically. I'm excited to try it outside the classroom.
Here are some pictures I took during it:
